A Late Norfolk Sighting

 Sunday September 17

Earlier this week, after a morning full of appointments - and with enticing news of goodies passing by Cley, we drove to Bacton car park.

I scanned the sea and found - nothing. Not even a gull species. About to give up, a small passerine landed on the fence in front of us. Our second  2023 Norfolk Wheatear. They had been few and far between before going to Scotland where we saw plenty to enjoy. We managed one sighting on the Eye Field.
